On the RÖNTGEN bi-alfa® Master band saw blade, the leading tooth (A), chamfered with a borazon grind, achieves better cutting guidance in the kerf of the workpiece. This reduces the tendency of the cut to run off. The set trailing teeth (B and C) are ground lower and ensure that the band cuts clear reliably. This tooth geometry with HSS-M42 tooth tips and very tight tooth height tolerances ensures an even load on every tooth during chip removal and thus delivers higher cutting performance – resulting in a noticeable reduction in cost per cut.
