High and highest alloyed materials require wear-resistant and heat-resistant cutting tools. With HSS M51 tooth tips and a special tooth geometry, the RÖNTGEN Master Supreme band saw blade provides the ideal basis for cutting these materials economically. Master Supreme shows its strengths especially on large cross-sections, making it ideal for steel service centres, drop forges and all applications where economical sawing of medium to large workpiece cross-sections is the priority. The band ensures a clean cut and an excellent cut surface, even with difficult-to-machine materials. The M51 tooth tip grade allows cutting materials up to a hardness of 50 HRC (1600 N/mm²). Combined with an aggressive rake angle of 16°, cutting behaviour improves significantly, especially with high and highest alloyed steels with large cross-sections. Further features are the combi tooth pitch, a ground leading tooth with tooth height difference and an extra-wide set for materials with residual stress, such as forgings. The alloyed high-speed steel (HSS) M51 tooth tips offer high thermal and mechanical wear resistance, resulting in longer tool life and a larger cutting area. Master Supreme thus offers maximum cost-efficiency and the best cutting results on demanding materials.
