The RÖNTGEN bi-alfa® cobalt forteC is a high-performance band saw blade with HSS-M42 tooth tips for maximum tool life and highest precision. It offers high mechanical wear resistance thanks to optimally tempered tooth tips and evenly distributed, extremely hard special carbides. Thermal resistance is ensured by the firm embedding of the carbides in a martensitic structure and the high cobalt content. A high-alloy, chromium-containing spring steel backing band provides excellent flexural fatigue strength. The additional forteC coating increases cutting performance and heat resistance. Combi tooth pitch and pre-honed cutting edges guarantee optimised cut quality with reduced load. Ideal for demanding metalworking and precise cuts under high stress.
