The RÖNTGEN bi-alfa® Master M51 band saw blade impresses with its borazon-ground, chamfered leading tooth, which ensures precise cutting guidance in the kerf and significantly reduces the tendency of the cut to run off. The set trailing teeth are ground lower and ensure that the band cuts clear reliably. Thanks to the special tooth geometry with HSS-M51 tooth tips and very tight tooth height tolerances, every tooth is loaded evenly, resulting in higher cutting performance and a noticeably lower cost per cut. The band has a combi tooth pitch and is suitable for cutting all common steel grades up to a hardness of 50 HRC. The alloyed high-speed steel tooth tips offer increased thermal and mechanical wear resistance. The backing band made of high-alloy spring steel ensures maximum flexural fatigue strength. The Master version features special grinding on the leading tooth for even more precise cuts, making the band ideal for demanding applications.
