bi-alfa®Profile WS

With the bi-alfa® Profile band saw blade and the Profile WS version, we ensure the perfect cut for vibration-prone sawing tasks! Vibrations when sawing tubes, beams and profiles often overload a conventional band saw blade, reducing tool life and cutting area. For these applications, Röntgen offers the perfect solution with bi-alfa® Profile and Profile WS! The special feature of these bimetal band saw blades is a wider set. This creates a wider cutting channel, which prevents the band from binding. The reinforced tooth back increases resistance to tooth overload caused by vibrations during interrupted cuts and protects the band against tooth strippage. The special set sequence minimises vibrations during the cut and thus increases the tool life of the band. The tooth tip is made of proven HSS-M42, which offers very good mechanical wear resistance. bi-alfa® Profile WS was specially developed for sawing profiles and beams under stress. The stresses released during sawing require a particularly wide cutting channel to prevent the band from binding in the material. That is why, in addition to the special set and the reinforced back, these bands also feature a wide set.
